Oct 7 - Non-Curricular Micro-teaching Reflection

I found this to be a very enlightening and reassuring activity for me. I do not believe I have ever had by teaching observed, let alone evaluated. I very much appreciated the words of encouragement and feedback from my peers.

What went well: People were engaging with the content, my materials were all prepared and ready to be used and I believe I organized the lesson appropriately.

What could be improved: I found myself in the middle of the guided practice time realizing that I forgot to mention that I encourage multilingual people to contribute words from their language. I also think I should have given members an outline of what were going to be doing before beginning the activity.

What I might do differently next time: I knew what I was going to say to introduce my lesson but I felt as though I was nervous until I got in the rhythm of teaching, so I would like to explore writing a script for my lesson that I can fall back on in such cases.
